LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CREW FOREMEN
We are looking for landscape foremen with the interest in growing with a growing company and want to further their careers with coaching and training. Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership ability, have at least one-year experience managing a landscape maintenance crew. However, we will hire less experienced applicants whom demonstrate leadership ability and are willing to learn. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record, have two forms of ID and possess a conversational proficiency in Spanish and English to effectively manage.
The position earns competitive hourly pay plus benefits (health insurance, 401(k) plan, etc.)

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE FOREMEN
The Job of foremen will be to actively service annual landscape maintenance contracts for the company’s clients. This will include lawn mowing, leafclean, and mulching, hedge trimming, weeding and more.
The foreman will need to operate on a schedule and complete tasks within allotted time frames. Records and other paperwork will need to be filled out and turned-in completely and accurately in a timely fashion. This will include, time sheets, route sheets, worksheets and receipts.
Crew foremen will be responsible to manage a crew of two or more labors, they must provide on-site supervision of crew and train the crew on safe-operation of equipment. The foremen must operate the company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner and obey all traffic laws and not operate a smartphone or other distracting devices while driving and abstain from the use of any alcohol or drugs prior to and during work, etc.
Taking personal responsibility for tools and equipment issued to his crew. This will include checking fluid levels in vehicles. Lawn mowers will need to be greased, blades sharped and oil checked on a weekly basis. Oil will need to be changed once each month on all equipment requiring oil change. Report any maintenance issues with the equipment immediately to the service manager.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor always. Wear a company issued uniform on daily basis and ensure that all crewmen are properly uniformed always. Always have a positive attitude toward clients and co-workers.
